ByteVoid SASU ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect through our website (bytevoid.io) and how we use it. Each of our apps has its own separate privacy policy, available within the app and on its App Store listing.

What we collect

  • Aggregate analytics via Plausible Analytics. No cookies, no personal data, no individual identification. Loads on every page.
  • Your email address if you submit it through one of our early-access signup forms (e.g. on our app pages). Stored and sent via Resend (a US-based email service provider) so we can send you launch updates and product news for the app you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
  • Email correspondence if you contact us directly. We receive only what you choose to send.
  • Meta Pixel (a Facebook tracking pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) on our app pages, used for advertising attribution and conversion measurement on Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. This places cookies and shares limited interaction data with Meta. It loads only after you accept it via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you reject or ignore the banner, it does not load.
  • Server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) retained by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.

How we use it

Aggregate analytics help us understand which pages are visited so we can improve the site. Early-access emails are used only to send you launch updates and product announcements for the app you signed up for. Email correspondence is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Meta Pixel data is used to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform.

We do not sell or rent your data. The third parties that help us operate the site are listed in the next section and bound by their own data processing terms.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Plausible Analytics does not use cookies or collect personal data. It loads on every page.

The Meta Pixel places cookies and shares interaction data with Meta for advertising attribution. It loads only on app pages (e.g. /latelight) and only after you accept the cookie banner. To change your preference later, clear your browser data for this site, then refresh.

Server logs from our hosting provider may retain your IP address and user agent for security and operational purposes.

Third parties (sub-processors)

  • Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia). Aggregate website analytics.
  • Resend Inc. (USA). Email service provider for early-access updates.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland). Facebook/Instagram ad attribution. Loads only with your consent.
  • Railway Corp. (USA). Website hosting and server logs.

Apps

Our individual apps have their own privacy policies, available within each app and on its App Store listing. The privacy practices of our apps are described in those documents and are not covered by this website policy.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email [email protected] to access, correct, port, or delete the data we hold about you (such as your early-access email), or to withdraw consent for tracking.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR). You have the rights above plus the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In France, that is the CNIL. In the UK, the ICO. Other EEA countries have their own national authority.

California (CCPA / CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The Meta Pixel may constitute "sharing" under California's broad definition. You can opt out by rejecting the cookie banner on app pages, or by emailing us. We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense.

Canada (PIPEDA + provincial laws). You have the rights above. In Quebec, you also have specific rights under Law 25, including the right to be informed about automated processing and to refuse it.

Australia (Privacy Act 1988 + APPs). You have the rights above. You can also lodge a complaint with the OAIC (Office of the Australian Information Commissioner).
